This convincing-looking scam is an image, not text. As so often, its slightly strange English gives it away.

It tricks Internet Explorer into showing that the destination is (the genuine) https://www.halifax-online.co.uk, when it really links to http://203.176.195.136:87/f/index.htm, which is in Hong Kong.  (Mozilla Firefox incorrectly shows it as http://203.176.195.136:38/f/index.htm.)

This version is safe, it links to http://pdoc.co.uk/nogo.htm (the unsafe version, as extracted from the e-mail with the original obfuscated URL still intact, is here, but be careful not to click on it).
